NWRB Executive Director Dr. Sevillo David Jr. said the water level at Angat Dam stood at 194.4 meters as of Thursday, May 4, which was still above the minimum operating level.The National Water Resources Board said on Thursday, May 4, that it has been closely monitoring Angat Dam after the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration raised the El Niño Alert.
PAGASA raised the El Niño Alert status as it expects the phenomenon to loom in the coming months starting in June.
