Fans are reeling at the surprise announcement.
Gene Gallagher will join his father on tour Liam Gallagher just revealed that he won’t be the only Gallagher embarking on the Definitely Maybe 30 Years Tour. The 51-year-old singer-songwriter – who will perform Oasis’ debut album on twelve dates across the UK and Ireland – will be joined on tour by his son Gene Gallagher and his band Villanelle. Liam’s brother Noel Gallagher, 56, has reportedly refused the invitation to join his brother on the nostalgic tour.
Although they haven’t released any official tracks yet, Villanelle has been making waves by sharing the stage with Brummie rockers Overpass on their recent tour. Notably, they rocked the iconic King Tut’s in Glasgow on March 21, a venue steeped in musical history where Oasis famously inked their deal with Creation Records. Noel Gallagher denied brother Liam’s request to join him on tour In a fan-posted video of Villanelle, Liam’s son appears to be on lead vocals and guitar.
