Oasis fans' excitement as Liam Gallagher teases tour of iconic album
Oasis fans have spoken of their excitement and anticipation after Liam Gallagher unveiled plans to tour the band's debut album Definitely Maybe.
It is regarded as one of the pinnacle Britpop albums, and has been placed highly on numerous ‘Greatest Albums’ charts.Oasis disbanded in 2009 following the release of seven albums after brothers Liam and Noel got into an argument backstage at a concert in Paris. Liam and the remaining members of the band continued together under the name Beady Eye, whilst Noel went on to form Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
Posting on Twitter on Thursday , the singer wrote: “As it’s 30 years since DM was released nxt year I’m gonna be playing the album from start to finish in it’s original order at a few BIBLICAL venues LG x” One other fan commented: “My bank account will hate me.” Another fan said: “Happy days! The greatest album ever. Will be incredible.”
