Oasis say they will not be playing any shows at Knebworth in the near future. It follows claims the band were weighing up the possibility of gigs to mark the anniversary of their legendary performances there.
Late last month, the owner of Knebworth House invited the band back for a "shindig" to mark the 30th anniversary in 2026. Henry Lytton-Cobbold, who owns Knebworth House, joked: "Wembley is a reasonable warm-up venue for Knebworth. Then get ready for a nice huge 30th shindig in 2026."That's what the people want and they seem pretty good at doing what the people want. It would be a great way to have the best party of all parties.
"There are no plans for any further UK dates beyond the currently announced UK stadium tour." After burying the hatchet Liam and Noel are playing 19 dates across the UK and Ireland next July, August and September.
