OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David said on Wednesday night that the positivity rate in Metro Manila went up from 8.3% to 9.8% as of Tuesday, July 5. David said the following provinces had positivity rates higher than 10%—Antique (20.6%), Batangas (10.7%), Cavite (13.2%), Iloilo (10.1%), Laguna (17.3%), Pampanga (15%), and Rizal (16.5%).

COVID-19 positivity rates have gone up in the National Capital Region and a number of provinces, the OCTA Research Group has said.

David said the following provinces had positivity rates higher than 10%—Antique , Batangas , Cavite , Iloilo , Laguna , Pampanga , and Rizal . Based on DOH’s COVID-19 national situationer released Tuesday night, the National Capital Region logged the highest weekly positivity rate of 9.3% as of July 3.
