That has sparked conversations among the Celtic diehards over a return - with a clear split emerging over a potential deal for the frontman. Edouard recently talking up his credentials as a supporter when attending the Player of the Year awards night at the Hydro. Asked if he still follows the team's fortunes, he added: "Yeah, every game like a fan. And I'm happy about the win yesterday and I hope we will finish well and take the title."
With the club weighing up moves to bring back Paulo Bernardo and Adam Idah permanently - as well as find a replacement for Joe Hart - it would be a massive outlay for Celtic to also splash the cash on Edouard. Hoops' legend Simon Donnelly also reckons that the club should he looking elsewhere - declaring a return would NOT work out.
