Police officer girlfriend of hero cop was sent to machete attack not realising he had been stabbed
THE police officer girlfriend of a hero cop who tasered a machete maniac after being stabbed in the head four times was sent to help him, not realising he was the victim.
He was rushed to hospital and is now in a 'critical but stable condition' but is expected to recover. Det Ch Sup Richard Tucker told a press conference the suspect then pulled out a blade and attacked the officer.
