Greater Manchester Police officer sent sexual messages that 'made Carry On films sound like Songs of Praise' to woman he met on the beat
A Greater Manchester Police PCSO is accused of exchanging confidential information for a sexual favour from a woman he met on the beat, a court has heard.
On November 14, 2018, the woman asked Turner to check the police logs and provide the details of the officers who attended a domestic incident a few days earlier, the court head. She quoted the police log number, saying: "Suck your d*** for information", and ended the message with an emoji.Turner asked "not you is it?" but before the woman replied, he checked two police logs relating to the incident. He later messaged the woman, telling her: "you owe me a BJ.
"Domestics are a force wide priority", he said. "They are a red flag. I have to ascertain whether it is her involved, someone else involved, or whether it is a third party. All I know is it is a domestic issue and she has got a log number." He denies computer misuse offences and said reference to 'a BJ' was related a birthday present. Prosecuting, Mr Calder said: "This is not a case in which a member of the public is making a request from their friendly neighbourhood beat Bobby, with whom they have dealt with professionally on previous occasions. It is quite clear this is a very different type of relationship."
