Jeremy Simpson has been appointed to take charge of the match at Vicarage Road for what is due to be his 19th game of the campaign.
This will be the first time Simpson has been in the middle for a Watford fixture since the 4-1 victory at Rotherham United in March 2021. He previously officiated the 2-0 win at Huddersfield Town in December, the 1-0 defeat at home to Coventry City the previous month and the 1-1 draw at Rotherham in September.
