A referee is due to take charge of a Watford game for the second time this season on Saturday when Slaven Bilic’s men bid to get back on track from their defeat at Middlesbrough when they make the short journey to Reading.
Stephen Martin has been the man in the middle of 21 matches so far in the 2022/23 campaign, showing a total of 87 yellow cards and two reds. Martin’s previous game involving the Hornets this season was the 2-0 defeat at Blackburn Rovers in September. Robert Merchant and Matthew Smith have been named as the assistant referees for the game at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, with Darren Drysdale the fourth official.
