As emotions over the 2020 election still churn, research shows that those who administer America’s elections say they and their children have received verbal and written threats."I think there's a heightened awareness of the need to protect elections officials," said Aaron Ockerman , head of the Ohio Association Of Election Officials.

"There are a slew of bills that have been introduced around the county, and a couple here in Ohio, that would pretty much overhaul the way we run elections in this country and in this state. It's a direct outgrowth from some of the people who believe the 2020 election was stolen," Ockerman said.that, in effect, would require every county to dump its electronic voting equipment and return to hand-counted ballots.
