The Ohio Cannabis Coalition says many of its members have been notified they can begin sales Tuesday.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Division of Cannabis Control was notifying medical marijuana dispensaries on Friday that they will receive certificates of operation to begin recreational sales on Tuesday.
Tom Haren, spokesman for the Ohio Cannabis Coalition, the state’s largest marijuana industry association, said many of its members have been notified but an exact total is not yet known. State Rep. Jamie Callender, a Lake County Republican who has advocated for a medical and adult-use program, also said Friday morning that a dispensary business owner told him they received notification from the state that they can open Tuesday.The Ohio Division of Cannabis Control hasn’t made any statements about the status of dispensaries becoming operational on Tuesday and declined to provide more information on Friday.
