“It’s one of the reasons you come to Ohio State — obviously conference realignment helps,” left guard Donovan Jackson cracked postgame. “You play in these big games like this. We have great respect for that team.” “You have to watch the film every week and continue to identify your weaknesses,” Egbuka said. “Because they’re there, they’re on film. You can’t be oblivious to the fact that you have weaknesses. If we go into Eugene, and we’re the same team that was here today and we didn’t improve throughout the week, there’s a good chance that we might lose. So we have to continue to improve week after week, and at the end of the year, you’ll have something special.
“We’ve seen a lot of different stuff, we’re ready to stop the run, we’ve seen a little bit of the pass game,” linebacker Sonny Styles said. “They’ve got a really talented quarterback, really talented receivers. I don’t know if we’ve seen people that talented, but we’ve got some talented guys as well. We go against the best offense in the country every day, so we’re more than prepared.”
