An Ohio woman accused of kidnapping and killing her 5-year-old foster son, who was the subject of a statewide AMBER Alert, is in jail, authorities confirmed.

The AMBER Alert went out early Wednesday morning after the husband of 48-year-old Pammy Maye called 911 saying the couple's foster son, Darnell Taylor, was dead. Authorities arrived and both Maye and Taylor were missing though Maye's vehicle was found abandoned in Brooklyn, Ohio, shortly after the AMBER Alert was sent out.
Maye was arrested on Thursday in Brooklyn after she was seen "walking suspiciously" outside a building, police said. Authorities questioned her and she said Taylor's body was in a sewage drain in Columbus.Maye is being held in the Cuyahoga County Corrections Center where she was booked on Saturday afternoon. She is still being processed.
