Jewish non-governmental organisation the Anti-Defamation League has expanded and updated its Hate Symbols Database
A hand symbol used by the suspect in the New Zealand Mosque shooting in his first appearance in court has been added to a database of gestures considered to be racist. The Anti-Defamation League , a Jewish non-governmental organisation based in New York City, has also added the bowlcut hairstyle worn by American white supremacist and mass murderer Dylann Roof to its list, among a number of other "new symbols, memes and slogans".
