Helldivers 2 is an absolute blast and there is a lot for the community to look forward to during October.
We have the Democracy Space Station on the way, and there will also be Liberty Day in a few weeks. While nothing has been announced and nothing new has surfaced, it’s possible we could also be getting a spooky Halloween event judging by an old Helldivers 2 leak. Right now everyone is eagerly anticipating Liberty Day which takes place on October 26th. This is a yearly Super Earth holiday, and a leak has revealed new armor as part of the celebration.
This leak shared screenshots of an in-game model for a bug idol called “Greg“. It kind of resembles a pumpkin with beady eyes perched on top a black sack. Greg byu/IronS1ghts inHellDiversLeaks According to IronS1ghts, Greg is “worshiped by the bugs as a ‘Bug Idol'”. Its filename is “Bug Idol 1,” and this filename “entails the existence of other bug idols”. Although unconfirmed, the leaker said “This model is likely linked to a Halloween event”.
