Among the neophyte candidates with a known political pedigree who filed her CoC is Mary Claire I. Abayon who is running for barangay kagawad. She is the daughter of Barangay Captain Edgar Ibuyan Sr. of Barangay 5-A. Abayon was joined by her father who filed for reelection. She is eyeing to create inclusive programs not only for women empowerment but also for the youth of her barangay such as skills development and sports.
