Former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s previous comments on winning trophies go viral amid bold claims from Erik ten Hag
Old footage of former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has resurfaced online after his warning appeared to come true.Ten Hag came back firing when he was asked about his team making the same mistakes throughout his two-year tenure, and pointed to his trophy haul whilst at the club to dismiss this argument.
"No, it’s the gradual progression and the consistency of being in the top of the league, in and around there, and then add the odd trophies.Solskjaer's warning was re-shared in a recent compilation video uploaded on X by a United fan page account, alongside the comment: "He was SPOT ON. Sigh.." "We need a team that is consistently winning and playing good football, never heard pep once talk about his trophies when s*** isn't working out."Solksjaer left his position as United manager in November 2021, having taken charge in 2018, but did not lift any trophies during this time.
