BBC Eurovision fans said they’ve been left with ‘goosebumps’ after this year’s UK performance by Olly Alexander.
BBC commentator Graham Norton said: “Wow. What a great job. We are clapping in the booth. The reaction in the arena is sensational.”Many of the millions of viewers took to X after Olly’s performance. Many heaped praise on the star - who became famous as part of the band Years & Years. Another viewer @jasonericf said: “Olly did so well, made the UK proud #eurovision.” While we saw @David0Sm comment: “Got to be Olly hasn’t it? #Eurovision2024 #EUROVISION.”That was fabulous! #Eurovision @Eurovision.”
