Just hours after announcing that he had become a dad, Olly Murs candidly revealed that he had left behind his newborn daughter to head to perform as 'The show must go on’
Fresh from the news that he had officially become a first time dad, Olly Murs has revealed his heartache amidst the baby bliss as he had to leave the precious little one behind to head to work. The pop sensation first announced the news that his wife Amelia Tank had given birth to a baby girl on Wednesday, with the precious little one’s name revealed to be Madison.
Taking to Instagram to share the announcement with fans, Olly first began by thanking everyone for their messages of congratulations, as he said: “I just wanted to jump on here and say thank you so much for the lovely messages. It’s been an incredible few days and little Madison is here and we’re just over the moon and full of love.”
He then concluded the post with another flurry of thanks, before admitting outright that he could hardly believe that he was now a parent! Olly added: “I am here and just wanted to send all my love to you guys and thank you for your support and love. I really appreciate it. I can’t believe I’m a dad!”
Olly, 39, who was a judge on The Voice up until last year, married bodybuilder Amelia, 31, in a three-day private island extravaganza in July 2023, after being in a relationship for four years.
