Eurosport commentator Bob Ballard has been removed from the broadcaster's coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympics
Olympics commentator Bob Ballard has issued an apology for remarks that led to his dismissal from Eurosport's coverage of the games.
He said: "Well, the women just finishing up. You know what women are like... hanging around, doing their make-up." The clip caused consternation on social media, with some branding his comments 'shameful', leading to Eurosport issuing a statement.
