Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark have blown away their fans with a 'wonderful gesture' after receiving an unexpected windfall following a recent gig. The band, which was formed in WIrral in 1978, played a concert at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool on March 3 . There was reportedly a problem with the heating in the arena, meaning the venue was 'unusually cold' throughout the performance.

'The venue have offered us a level of compensation for this oversight.
