Multiple animals are unaccounted for, according to Rural Metro Fire
MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ — A BBQ fire charred a home and spread to multiple other structures in the West Valley Thursday morning.
Rural Metro Fire officials say they received the call around 9:30 a.m. for the fire near 91st Avenue and Deer Valley Road near Peoria.Email us: share@abc15.comWhen firefighters arrived, they found the BBQ fire had spread to grass and was still growing. Officials upgraded the fire response to a second alarm because of"multiple structures involved" and because the fire was"possibly being fed by propane."Five dogs are unaccounted for, according to Peoria Fire."We are completely devastated by the event that occurred yesterday. We appreciate the outpouring of support, love, and prayers during this most difficult time. We cannot begin to know where to start in rebuilding.
