Citizens Advice Scotland analysed new research from YouGov and found almost a third of people are struggling to pay their bills on their salary
More than 1.3 million Scots are struggling to make ends meet on their current income due to soaring inflation.
The Scottish Government insisted it was already helping the least well-off in society despite its "limited powers". "There’s nothing to be embarrassed about when well over a million of us are worried about money, it is affecting so many of us.
