Prichard PD is asking to be contacted if anyone has information that will help in their investigation.
) - Prichard police have released a statement regarding their investigation about a shooting that happened early Saturday morning.“Prichard police were called out this morning on what initially was thought to be a possible medical call of a black male down on the side of the road of O’Neal St. However, upon their arrival and the arrival of EMS personnel, it was determined that they were now on the scene of a murder.
Crime Scene Investigators were called to the scene for photos and evidence preservation. The victim has been identified as 46 yr old Adrian Mitchell. Further investigation showed that the victim was shot multiple times at the Moody’s Motel on St. Stephens Rd before fleeing on foot and collapsing on O’Neal St. Prichard detectives are further investigating this murder for other potential witnesses and potential suspects.
