reported at the time, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to the flames in Tradeston's Kingston Street on Sunday morning around 9.54am.
Since then, a force spokesperson said that firefighters have left the scene after it was extinguished.confirmed that their officers are still on location, despite having confirmed earlier today that the fire is not being treated as deliberate. According to Traffic Scotland, nearby Nelson Street has now been reopened to traffic, while Paisley Road also remains closed from Dalintober Street to West Street.A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 9.54am on Sunday, October 16, to reports of a fire affecting a building at Kingston Street, Glasgow.
“Operations control initially mobilised four fire appliances and one height vehicle to the scene, which was increased to six fire appliances. “There are no reported casualties. Crews worked to extinguish the fire and have now left after ensuring the scene was made safe.”
