One stalwart Sentinel remains to be seen.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Throughout their long history, the X-Men have made far more than their fair share of enemies. Their most dangerous foes, Nimrod and the Sentinels, have tormented mutantkind for almost as long as they’ve been active, with the ongoing Fall of X bringing their vendetta to a fever pitch.
Close Over the years, Bastion proved himself as a major threat to mutants during events such as Operation: Zero Tolerance or even Hope Summers’ Second Coming. Considering the villain's longstanding track-record against the X-Men, and his connection to Nimrod, it is odd that he’s been absent for Krakoa’s rise and fall.
Not only does Bastion have a proven history against the X-Men – even once killing the beloved hero, Nightcrawler – but his A.I. nature, with a seemingly human exterior, theoretically makes him a perfect candidate for Orchis membership. However, with the Krakoan Era of X-Men storytelling all but over, it seems relatively safe to say that the entire epic story will have been told without Bastion making an appearance.
