Motorists have been told to find another route, with a diversion now in place from Traffic Scotland following a 'serious road traffic incident' in the early hours of Monday morning.
A stretch of the A737 at Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire, is closed to traffic in both directions as motorists have been warned to find another route.
The busy route is shut between Howwood and KIlbarchan due to an ongoing police incident reported in the early hours of Monday . The road closure has been in place since 3.42am, and Amey reports on X, formerly Twitter, that it’s due to a “serious road traffic incident”.
