An OnlyFans 'model' has narrowly avoided jail for blackmailing a married man by threatening to tell his wife if he failed to pay up hundreds of pounds.
Bethan Guy demanded the money from the husband who subscribed to receive her adult content saying she would tell his wife about his indiscretions Guy, of Swindon, was arrested and later charged with blackmail. She pleaded guilty to the crime in December 2023, which can carry a prison sentence of up to 14 years.The conditions of the six-month deferral included that she does not commit further offences and retain her employment or if she lost employment, to use her best endeavours to obtain a new job.
Guy was ordered to complete 225 hours of unpaid work in the community, 12 sessions of mental health treatment and 15 rehabilitation activity days with the probation service.In addition, she must pay compensation of £450 back to the victim at a rate of £50 per month.
