Fans of the chicken sandwich that ‘broke the internet’ will be able to get their hands on one over on Sauchiehall Street very soon, as signage for the second location in Scotland goes up.
Fans of fried chicken in Glasgow eager to try the new Popeyes will soon be able to get their hands on their famous chicken burgers after the brand confirmed they are opening in the city centre .
The opening day will take place next month with further details about giveaways and the exact date still to be confirmed. The brand say Popeyes Sauchiehall Street will also be serving a the ‘brekkie’ menu, featuring British breakfast classics with a New Orleans twist. CEO at Popeyes UK, Tom Crowley, said: “Since we opened in Barrhead last autumn, we've been asked for a city centre restaurant and we are thrilled to announce that Popeyes will be opening in the heart of Glasgow this summer.
