A new restaurant, estimated to cost £4 million, is set to open in Nottingham city centre , promising an 'extraordinary' dining experience. The unnamed venture, characterized as opulent and modern, will offer a fusion of Japanese and Chinese -inspired cuisine in a 'vibrant high-energy atmosphere'. Luxello Hospitality , the company spearheading this exciting new brand, has chosen Nottingham as the launchpad for its nationwide expansion plans.

The restaurant will occupy the former Glasshouse bar and restaurant, located on the first floor of a building overlooking Trinity Square. The Glasshouse, known for its whimsical and colourful décor featuring topiary peacocks, neon signs, and vibrant flowers, closed its doors permanently in June 2022. Prior to its transformation into the Glasshouse, the property housed games bar Monty's and before that, the Curious Manor. Situated next to Son of Steak and the burger joint Boo, the restaurant will also back onto the Asian buffet restaurant Panda Mami in Milton Street.Luxello Hospitality is actively recruiting staff to lead the restaurant, including a general manager and head chef. The forthcoming eatery is sure to become a popular destination for discerning diners in Nottingham, offering a unique and memorable culinary experience
