Oracle Advertising is shutting down, CEO Safra Catz said during the database goliath's fiscal 2024 Q4 earnings call with Wall Street this week. According to Schmitt, the challenge for commercial data businesses like Oracle Advertising takes the form of reduced spending from advertisers and smaller budgets from advertising technology, media, and publishing firms.
