Following a disappointing loss to Texas A&M in the NCAA super regionals comes an exciting achievement. True Freshman Maddox Molony’s outstanding performance throughout the 2024 season earned him a highly coveted honor.
has achieved a rare honor. He has been named a second-team freshman All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association , making him just the fourth, Molony set a program record for most home runs by a freshman while leading the team with a .368 batting average for a period of time and ultimately finishing second on the team in hitting with a .315 batting average.
