But Ornstein insists that the news of Jorginho signing for Arsenal created “a really positive response” amongst the Gunners squad.“There was an initial scepticism on the basis of his age which is a throwback to Arsenal signing others from Chelsea like Willian and David Luiz in a time where they were not so good.
“When the news started to filter through to the playing squad and staff it generated a really positive response because players and staff know quality players.After signing for Arsenal, Jorginho said: “I’m very excited for this new challenge, and I just can’t wait to be on the pitch to be honest. Everything has happened so fast.“It’s an important shirt. It’s an amazing club, a big one, and I’m really excited and happy to be here.
