AMC+ has dropped a brand new Orphan Black: Echoes trailer for its upcoming sci-fi thriller led by Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter.
The video features Ritter’s character who begins to question her life and identity, after discovering that someone wants to kill her. In her search for answers, she unexpectedly meets the teenaged version of herself. The series premieres on June 23, 2024 on AMC, AMC+, and BBC America.
“Set in the near future, the spin-off takes a deep dive into the exploration of the scientific manipulation of human existence,” reads the synopsis. “It follows a group of women as they weave their way into each other’s lives and embark on a thrilling journey, unraveling the mystery of their identity and uncovering a wrenching story of love and betrayal.
The 10-episode series is created, written, and executive produced by showrunner Anna Fishko . It is directed and executive produced by the original series’ co-creator John Fawcett.
