The much-loved 2006 hit, which saw Meryl Streep shine as the formidable fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly, is often cited as one of Streep's finest roles.
Although Blunt captivated audiences with her portrayal of Emily Charlton, the senior assistant to Miranda, she stopped short of confirming if all of the original cast would return for the new instalment. During the conversation, Blunt also credited her part in the 2006 dramedy for paving her path towards varied acting opportunities.
