The trending manicures that Celebs wore on last night’s Oscars champagne carpet!

Vanessa Hudgens The High School Musical star opted for a classic vintage black and white Chanel gown for last night’s Oscars and complemented the ensemble with some matching monochrome nails. If you zoom in you’ll be able to see the full intricacy of the manicure, which combines a pearly white base colour with graphic black swirls. 10/10 for outfit and nail pairing, Vanessa.
First popularised by JLo last month, the lip gloss manicure trend is about neat nails in a barely-there colour, and finished with a super-glossy, mirror-like top coat – it’s an elegant, suits-all effect with a hint of “Lancôme Juicy Tubes” nostalgia. Like Sabrina, Michelle played on the barely-there nail trend but added a bit of fun with a glitzy top coat over the white base shade. We love how she’s kept the mani looking sheer instead of a block colour – much more flattering than a Tipp-Ex white.
