Considering the kind of series Oshi no Ko is, it’s unknown what will come of the latter, but at the very least, it’s still great that the story is finally done with such a controversial element. That same dialogue between Aqua and Goro also clarified Aqua’s feelings for Kana. For years now, there’s been a lot of romantic tension between Aqua and Kana, but Goro made Aqua admit that he’s had feelings for Kana for ages, and immediately afterward, Kana, very conveniently, asked Aqua to meet up with her, giving him a perfect chance to act on his feelings.
