The site has an on-site electrical substation providing renewable hydroelectric power from Hydro-Quebec, and the site benefits from paved road access, proximity to Murdochville, and St Lawrence seaway port access at Sainte-Anne-de-Monts. Osisko Metals acquired the project from Glencore in July 2023 for US$25 million, paid through the issuance of a convertible note and a milestone $20 million payment upon reaching commercial production.
