Come with us as we revisit some of the places we loved in Lancashire this year
2022 saw LancsLive become tourists in our own county, and you came along with us for the ride. From coastal villages, pretty places and overlooked towns, we travelled around Lancashire to discover what is has to offer for visitors and most importantly, the people living here.
View gallery Well, what a wonderful place and we honestly didn't want to leave. We'd wager curiosity will get the better of you and you won't be able to pass through without stopping. Ansdell village and Fairhaven In pictures - the Fylde coastal villagewith gorgeous floral displays, beach, station, two golf clubs and fabulous historic buildings
It's a pretty place to stroll around and while away a weekend afternoon. Head to Fairhaven Lake and take the short circular route around it, finishing with a trip to the Lakeside Cafe, and ice cream parlour. It is steeped in royal history as the Duchy of Lancaster Estate is located within it. Hop in the car, pop your hiking boots in the boot or bike on the rack and prepare for an ear-popping adventure in one of the most beautiful and untouched areas in the country.
