Sky News host Andrew Bolt says aboriginal people have “gained a lot of things” living in western culture as it offers a “much better” lifestyle.

“What our western culture offers is so much better; the food, the comfort, the electricity, the housing, the medicine, the cars, the hospitals, the welfare net, it’s all infinitely better,” Mr Bolt said.

“So wouldn’t it be more honest, to say that aborigines, yes, they did suffered terribly in some ways from colonisation but in other ways gained a lot of things they’d now never give up.”
