Ron Perlman and Rupert Everett have been tapped for leading roles in the upcoming romantic comedy-drama titled Out Late.
The project will see Perlman and Everett playing a widower and a retired dancer finding romance with each other. Besides Out Late, Perlman is also currently attached to star in two crime movies, including The Instigators with“The film follows the story of recent widower Angelo who is forced to confront a deeply hidden personal truth when he meets and strikes up an unlikely friendship with openly gay dancer Edmond.
Out Late will be directed by Thomas Michael from a screenplay he co-wrote with Paulo Mancini. They previously worked with Perlman in 2022’s action thriller The Baker. It is produced by Michael and Barbara Shrier. Production is expecting to begin in the late summer of 2024 in Montreal.Maggie Dela Paz has been writing about the movie and TV industry for more than four years now.
