Shadow Immigration Minister Dan Tehan quoted actor Jack Nicholson as he took aim at the Prime Minister during Question Time, declaring “you can’t handle the truth” before he was removed from the chamber by Speaker Milton Dick.The Prime Minister also used Question Time on Wednesday to mock the Coalition for agreeing to vote for his tax cut plan.“The idea of delivering the tax cuts to medium to high-income earners has also gone right out the window.
The Coalition announced on Tuesday it would back the federal government’s amendments to the stage three tax cuts following a party room meeting. However, the Opposition will also seek to make some amendments to Labor's changes, but it remains unclear as to what this would be.
