Local beer garden and kitchen changing with season to keep customers cool as temps continue to rise

SAN ANTONIO — The scorching temperatures are here to stay, but the heat can be draining on small businesses. That’s why one outdoor bar and kitchen is changing with the season.

“We are also building a new greenhouse - which will be right in this area that I am standing in,” said Goeckel. “It will provide more shade.” “It’s still a good season,” she said. “We have really loyal customers, especially from the locals. We are thankful for tourism; we are on the Riverwalk if you are visiting. It is less traffic, but it’s not significantly less where we have to close.”“It feels like it’s 75 right now, it feels good,” said Frank Barron.“Those restrooms are air conditioned,” said William Neuls. “So, when you go in there, it’s like being in a meat market. That’s the best, honestly.
