Outlander newcomer Diarmaid Murtagh and The Fall's Conor MacNeill will be joining Jamie Dornan for The Tourist's second season.
's Nessa Matthews have also signed up for the series, though their exact roles haven't been disclosed yet.Season two, which starts filming in Dublin this week, will shift the story from the Australian Outback to Ireland as an amnesia-afflicted Elliot and probationary constable Helen attempt to track down Elliot's family.
However, the pair soon find themselves in the midst of a family feud, and Elliot's shady past catches up with him. The show's writers, Harry and Jack Williams, said in a statement:"We’re so excited to take Elliot and Helen to Ireland, where they will meet a host of dark and off beat new characters. With a stellar cast to match, we can’t wait for it all to be brought to life."
