Jamie thinking next to Claire looking up in Outlander
Outlander stars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan have offered a story update on season 7 part 2, confirming that Claire and Jamie are going to be separated after their trip to Scotland. Outlander season 7 part 1 ended with the couple alongside Ian making their way to Jamie's original homeland, following conflict that ensued due to the American Revolutionary War happening at the time.
Caitriona Balfe : There is some heartbreak. When they get there, life has moved on and there may be some exits. But then Claire quite quickly has to leave again. She is needed back in the colonies. She gets a request to come and help somebody as only she can — the wonderful surgeon she is. When the Frasers are not together, things don't always go very well.
