A motorcycle gang member who planted a pipe bomb under a van during a feud is due to be sentenced next month.
The 43-year-old pleaded guilty to wilful fire-raising and the unlawful possession of a shotgun at the High Court in Glasgow. A major incident was declared, resulting in the evacuation of the area and a 100-metre cordon was in place until the device was made safe. They found a loaded double-barrel, break-action shotgun that had been shortened by removing a section of the barrel and stock.
