McDonald's has lodged a pre-development application to build a new restaurant in Marrickville, where small businesses like coffee shops and breweries thrive.
READ MORE:"Every McDonald's restaurant is committed to supporting the community it operates in through job creation, economic investment and ongoing training and development opportunities," the spokesperson told 9News.com.au.The planning portal reveals a proposal for a two-storey restaurant with a carpark and drive-thru near the heart of Marrickville.But Marrickville residents aren't all impressed with the proposal to pop a fast food franchise amongst their local businesses.
