Police Scotland recovered over £100,000 worth of cocaine in North Lanarkshire, leading to the arrest of a 26-year-old man.
Over £100,000 worth of cocaine has been recovered in North Lanarkshire. Around 7pm on Tuesday, December 31, officers searched a premises under warrant at Hamilton Road in Motherwell. A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the recovery and was held in custody to appear at court today (Friday, January 3).
Sergeant Steven Brown stated: 'Drugs cause misery in our communities and the public has an important role to play in helping Police Scotland target those responsible for the sale and supply of illegal substances”.
