It happened at around 4am local time as a convoy of aid trucks moved north along Al-Rashid Street, passing through an Israeli checkpoint near Nabulsi roundabout. Israeli officials acknowledge their troops opened fire, but say many people were trampled on or run over after storming the aid trucks.
